I regularly take part in events including guided walks, talks, conferences and the occasional book signing. Here’s what’s coming up:
The Urban Tree Festival runs online between 16th-24th May
I will be involved in the following events:
Sunday 17th May, 2:00 – Living with Trees in the City. I will be in discussion with Robin Walter, author of Living with Trees. This event was originally scheduled to take place at Kings Place as part of its Nature Unwrapped programme. Book your place now!
Monday 18th May, 6:00 – Great Streetview Trees of London. Join me for a virtual tour of some of London’s greatest trees. There’ll be a Q&A at the end too. Book your place now!
Thursday 21st May, 2:00 – London’s Street Trees. I’m on a panel with Andy Tipping, Trees and Woodlands Manager at London Borough of Barnet, and ‘rebel botanist’ Sophie Leguill, for an exploration of the history and diversity of London’s street trees. Book your place now!
Friday 22nd May, 4:00 – Urban Tree Festival Bookclub. I’ll be talking to Peter Fiennes (author of Oak and Ash and Thorn: The Ancient Woods and New Forests of Britain) about London’s Street Trees. Book your place now!
Sunday 24th May, 2:00 – Great Trees I’m chairing the final discussion of the festival with Simon Edwards of TiCL, and Margaret Peart of the Sheffield Street Tree Festival. What makes a ‘great tree’? How do you weigh beauty, rarity and history? Book your place now!
You may be interested in following my Facebook page where I also share details of the events I am involved with, and that way, they will magically appear in your timeline.
And finally, if you’re thinking of running an event, or in need of a speaker, why not hire me.
